Process for the piece I made for last week's prompt on the Harvest Tales challenge. I usually start with just vague blobs of value, but this time I decided to start with a pencil sketch, which I'll probably be doing more in the future

2012 - still just drawing for fun, very edgy
2015 - a couple years into trying to make a realistic digital painting fantasy portfolio, having an awful time
2019 - took me a while but I finally figured what I actually want to do, edginess is a bit more subtle

The ancient race of the gallasir, who humans simply called elves, were well known as travelers and explorers.

Short, sturdy creatures fond of drink and industry. Although, by comparison, they were the youngest race, the dwarves quickly established their place in history.

A couple studies I forgot to share here. I think compression might be making them a bit too grainy, I need to figure that out
