61/100: 'Far From Home'
It's interesting for me to see older images and notice how my approach has shifted over time. This one, from 2018, is way more painterly than I recall.
Have a great weekend, everyone.
57/100: 'How I Wonder'
Finding titles for these pictures can be difficult, and usually occurs once the painting is complete. Not so here however. A snatch of 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star' presented itself during an early sketch and that was that.
56/100: 'Levitation'
Imagination is a greater force than than gravity.
51/100: 'Rogue Appliance'
When I was little, I was quite concerned about the emotional state of household devices. Toasters seemed particularly vulnerable. I'm less anxious about the well-being of domesic apparatus these days. They're more resilient than I thought.
48/100: 'Cold Companion'
Weather is a frequent source of inspiration for the Transmissions pictures, and snow seems a particular favourite. Perhaps because, at least where I am, it's a rare and brief visitor, and that gives it a magical quality.
Yogg-Saron, Punch Guardian and Party Animal Mukla for @PlayHearthstone.
46/100: 'Conundrum'
There's nothing like a discarded garment in the wild to fire the imagination.
39/100: 'Distant Voices'
The Transmissions robots seem to arrive in quite a range of sizes. This might be the biggest so far.
