- it was supposed to be (color-wise) just about red vs green, then for no specific reason I felt like orange was a better fit as a base color. It wasn't. Spent the whole painting trying to deal with that terrible choice and how to balance it, complimentaries are always key.

Some trivia about the making of this painting:
- the reference is from the almighty #caneyo archive;
- the girl on the left is mostly made up;
- the girl on the right is actually my mother taking a nap;
