My static’s wonderful PLD drew my character for my birthday! The only surprise I had today. <3

Annual FC Secret Santa/holiday party today (the only holiday celebrations I’m getting this year), then a completely ridiculous min ilvl/no job stone run of a 70 alliance raid because we had enough people together (24!), so why not! I do love these crazies. Happy holidays!

@BeijingPalmer As a healer main, I say with some confidence that that a think healer would be people sitting around bouncing between apathy, resignation, and rage, often in the span of minutes. Sounds a bit like academia TBH.

Highlight of the weekend (I think as I work on fn at 2 AM) was hanging with some of my favorite people & how *tiny & insignificant* I felt at the end. Reminded me of the end of one of my favorite poems by Prévert - ‘sur la terre,/la terre qui est un astre.’ Oddly comforting.

Got some virtual house tidying done as a quick break from ACTUAL house tidying (digital is more fun): a sake set! New windows! Adorable sugar sculpture thingamabobs!
