@charlenedraws Hi, I'm Mike. I mostly make game art but also draw other things from kidlit to pin-ups... and apparently a whole bunch of cats too! (and this isn't even all of them, just a selection)
Anyhow, I'm also @mdashow on IG, and more of my work is at https://t.co/5g2VXy3nti . Cheers!
I did a DTIYS challenge recently & wasn't totally happy with the result. So I reverted back to my original sketch and redid the entire thing totally differently from the original. So here's my completely updated witch illustration for #Witchtober !
A pic for a #Drawlloween prompt from @/Kaitdonedid on IG. Kait's prompt was an engraving by François Séraphin Delpech (1778 - 1825) but I gave it a rockabilly vampire twist. I just love combining vampires with Rockabilly looks! 🧛♀️😎
I'm loving this time of the year where all of these spooky, witchy #drawthisinyourstyle challenges are going on. This one is from @/artbyclalu on Instagram. I didn't do it as an Inktober drawing, just my usual (prefered) digital ink and painting. 😄🧙♀️
#FlashbackFriday - I was looking back through some old files and found some gems that I'm still quite proud of. This one was for a #CharacterDesignChallenge from 4 years ago this month, the theme for which was #DemonsAndDevils - Would you buy a used car from this salesdemon? 😈
@jasperthecrab Hi, all! I'm Mike, an illustrator/character artist who does work for game companies. It's nearly October, so I think I'll do this as the spooky edition and share some pieces thematically appropriate for Halloween! 🎃😄
Pulp woman illustration I've been fiddling with this illustration for a couple of weeks now, heavily influenced by Norman Saunders and other 40's and 50's pulp covers. :)
Ganesha commuting.
This was drawn for the new #CharacterDesignChallenge whose theme is Hindu Gods. I learned that Ganesha sometimes uses a mouse as a mount. So here he is, employing that method of transportation on his way to another busy day at the office. 😄

@bubblehouse_app Here are some of my most recent Bubblehouse art posts. I’m @mdashow on the app, too. 😄
I fell in love with this fun character design from @ErinLHunting - he's Squish the Ghoul Kat, and I really tried to play up the cool 50s greaser boy vibe with my interpretation of him. 🧟♂️😄
