The bean bag was definitely the hardest to render, even now I wished i did the lighting better but references really helped out! Also I really recommend to everyone to make a pinterest board of your favorite posters/wall stuff because it's really hard to think of them yourself!
Since there was so much wood furniture i had to be careful with using too similar colors so i asked advice from one of my friends (@mopmey ty :D) instead of a yellow/orange brown i used a more saturated redish color!!
after testing some colors out I move on to the actual piece. I tend to do everything in sections lol while coloring i keep in mind where the light is going to hit and how light would effect the props among the table! I also think about how the golden and metal bits react to light
I added a blur to some of the buildings, and some diamonds inspired by SU's bg art
Out of the whole piece this building was SO hard to paint. I still am not happy with the end result :( But I really like the way I used guassian blur on the lighting.
the amount of time i spent on this singular building. 😭the curve was so hard to match windows to, godbless for the mesh tool omg. There isn't much to explain that I haven't already explained yet, besides that whenever a building is curved use the mesh tool!!
