Work In progress: I love when I get to work on a painting commission that also offers me calming, healing energy. This abstract oil painting based on colors of the sea feels so good to paint. So grateful to be able to use my energy and vision in this way… https://t.co/sPPVKLDQzD

Before I start a large commission I like to do a sample painting to make sure my creative vision is aligned with my client’s. I don’t try to replicate this version for the final piece. It’s a rough draft - a color palette + composition guideline and a communication tool.
