I'm really proud of the work I did last year. Nearly all of it, 7 woolbeast paintings: all not juried into that art annual. That's a big feeling. Competitions are rough, having your work judged can hurt. Don't let these things dim your weird light - keep doin' your thing 💕✨

Registration is now open for this year's workshop, and I can't recommend it enough.✨ Process gets de-mystified. I learned how to build illustrations, and worlds that I love. I also met some of my best friends. It's hard work and shenanigans. Check it out.

How it started / How it's going... The last time I painted the Spore Sprite was in 2018. 🍄 This latest version was done after a few years, one 1-hr mentorship, a SmArt School class - and most impactful: 2 years of attending the Fantasy Art Workshop Illustration Intensive.

The final magic, mossy details are my favorite part of painting 💕✨🖌🌿
