Here's the final image prior to any filters and whatnot!

Just like the other day, here's the flat image once I got everything colored! Compared to Gumi's flats, I actually really like this image, especially with the bit of white highlight.

And here's a happy medium! It doesn't have the "retro" look I wanted, but it's still really charming!

I missed #mikumonday, but it's #cutiesaturday so I did a quick 1hr sketch of #hatsunemiku underwater in a sailor seifuku so I could practice with less layers, a bit of monochromatic coloring, and less corrections/erasing. Heavily inspired by Shinkai Shojo/Deep Sea Girl.

This Sunday was Tanabata, so let's go play under the stars with Miku & Gumi!

I really enjoyed drawing a postcard-sized image. It was a unique challenge, and something I'd like to do again!
