Hazel’s character: Her clothes are inverted colors of Alrick’s school uniform. Her skin is darker and hair lighter because those traits are more uncommon and we wanted her to feel “created”. Her hair is also blonde to represent Alrick. Credit for these ideas to Owen/Maddie!

Canyons: Desaturated and pink to follow Grace’s arc of leaving her saturated red colors behind. Cave is dark and moody for the argument. The cabin is now only fire lit. It’s dark and crimson to follow Simon’s arc. Harsh orange lighting from the fire.

Campfire: Starts with a bloody sunset. The night is moonless, desaturated, as dark in value as we could push it. The sunrise memorial is blue in remembrance of Tuba. This is the last blue we see for a while. Ending lighting with Simon is harsh and bleak, washed out.

Last 2 Infinity Train episodes air tonight at midnight PST!! The are so juicy story wise but were also some of the most challenging and rewarding to do from a color perspective. Anyways, here are a few of my campfire BGs from last week! #InfinityTrainHBOMax #InfinityTrainSpoilers
