@Doodlelot I've played at least one game of every generation (except for 8) and I tried breeding with the Masuda method, chaining with the Pokeradar etc.
Never got any shinies.
Fast forward to Moon, and I set foot on Poni island for the first time. Boom. Shiny Granbull. I named her Peaches.
