One of the most fulfilling things about this piece is that the dog is posing in a rain puddle and I used rain to paint this

Happy #NationalDogDay! Today, I finished this painting which was inspired by a dog I met recently. At one point, he laid in a rain puddle. I felt it was only right I painted this using rain. I’m not sure if he belonged to anyone, but I couldn’t let our encounter go to waste
