Contrary to all I've posted here, Sonic ain't my only video game interest from ye olden days. This is a super heavy edit of the Smash Ultimate/Super R model to speed up the process.
Based around the 64/Hero promo model renders (slightly more Hero with the wider eye placement).

This came much sooner than I thought it would! I decided I would try to imitate the coloring on Archie Sonic 251's cover, colored by Ben Hunzeker.
It's not perfect, but I'm pretty satisfied with the outcome.
