The Mega Man 1 and 2 sprites are slightly different from the rest of the 8-bit games since Mega Man has a yellow tinted face while the sequels managed to get a more natural skin color.
Mega Man 9 and 10 went back to the yellow face for some reason.

No, he's not supposed to have teeth, we literally have the artwork they downscaled for that sprite portrait and you can clearly see it looks nothing like the version with the scanlines.
@Plushious2 @pigassaults Generally love Bruce Timm's work but he had some sick fascination with this pairing that I'll never understand and it's genuinely a blight on his stories whenever it shows up.
