Drew this a few days ago. Usually I sketch out a picture before doing any coloring/painting/etc. but in this case, I just started layering and painting as I went. It was surprisingly freeing.

Also, this is the picture I used to generate a pattern for my next project. It's actually fan-made sprite art! I did change it by raising the saturation (it was less vibrant) and decided to stitch on black cloth.
