And last but not least, Boromir is a Gentoo Penguin! They're known for making big trumpet calls!

Gimli is a Northern Rockhopper Penguin! Because they live among the rocks! (Also they're shorter than Erect-crested!)
Gandalf is the Erect-crested Penguin, because they have big ol' eyebrows!
The Hobbits are Little Blue Penguins because they're the smallest species! Sam is a White-flippered penguin, a special variant, since he's the only one of the four who aren't cousins. Pippin also still has down feathers on the top of his head, since he's the youngest.
Since I spent a long time deciding on each Penguin type, and because it's World Penguin Day, here's a penguin info thread!
