deadly premonition is the wildest ride. ys seven is an ys game. system shock 2 is a game i should've played years ago. trials of mana is like secret of mana, but not a piece of shit, so you can actually enjoy the music/art without obstructions.

i'm yet to finish monster sanctuary, but when i close my eyes i see my monsters skill trees. carto was gorgeous with a really cool puzzle mechanic. haven looked and sounded as good as furi, but i could actually beat it. ikenfell had fun characters and combat, music was best.
