The Lost World: Jurassic Park. Liked it more when it first came out. Feels like a collection of great sequences where Characters get sidelined quickly.
Just lots of running from dinos -- like JW films, but this one's better directed. ♥️ Trex terrorizing (Burbank) San Diego
Jurassic Park. A favorite Spielberg of mine. Fun characters, wonderful effects, a great story, and some of the most memorable scenes in film history. A classic.
I ♥️ Hook's theatrical/live-action illustration feel. Beautiful sets. Akin to Altman's Popeye --but, Spielberg killed the musical numbers. However, Hook could've benefitted from modern rear projection/volume as the bgs r noticeably flat/lack depth

The Last Crusade is an enjoyable film. Another perfect example of a summer movie The father/son stuff really is the real highlight for me. It's almost over too soon. The goofy humor (plane tunnel scene!) at times knocks it down a bit. My third fav of the indy series.
The Color Purple. A well-made film that has def grown on me. But mid-tier Spielberg for me. As with any filmmaker, I always appreciate it when they try something out of their comfort zone.
Temple of Doom is my second favorite Indiana Jones. I like its darker tone. It's flawed & problematic in some spots -- but, it's such a fun ride.
E.T. is another favorite of mine. Such heart and warmth. The awe & wonder. I love it. Classic.
Missed The Sarah Connor chronicles when it first aired, but been watching recently. Good show. I’d rank it above some of the movies. That’s the tweet. 🤖
Something Evil (1972) 2 of 3 of #Spielberg TV Films. A first-time watch for me. Despite a paper-thin devil possession story, Spielberg is in full experiment/trying out things with framing, movement, & direction. More for the Spielberg-completist out there.
