Doing the RoomPortraitClub challenge today to keep me painting. A lot of iPad time recently and don’t want to get scared about putting paintbrush to paper...

@katylcowan @creativeboom Also recently I’ve found that having physical inspiration helps esp as we can’t travel. Recently I bought vintage magazines and maps & it was much more inspiring than having seen them on screen.

Here’s some new digital work I did based on them.

Aged 66, my Mum sold the house she’d lived in for 40 years and moved to the seaside, all on her own.
She wrote a piece about it on my blog, for anyone else who is thinking of upping sticks.

I don’t have any B&W as usually commissioned for my colour but these are probably closest I have to your description. I can draw men too, just normally asked for women.
