There was a few along the way that didn’t make it. But they all helped shape the final piece.

A bit of back and forth and we wondered if we could make this work in a different way. As either a die cut cover with an extended spread on the inside, or with a spot varnish (I still kind of like option 3 I have to say). C’mon @nikefootball 🤷‍♂️

So I started messing about with it (even though I had yet to capture the full beauty of Cannavaro 😂) and tried pushing some things around. Still searching and prodding about a bit… bold typography with dynamic movement = NIKE.

I’ll do a thread that goes through everything from the process… the brief, the sketches (so many sketches 😂), the ones that didn’t make it 😢 and lots more from 9pm tonight.
