This is why I like the Phantom Ruby as a plot point so much.

Nobody knows where it came from, or who it belongs to... it just popped out of nowhere, and has this tremendous, unfathomable and incomprehensible power

The artists just go completely overboard designing cool locations, scenarios and aliens that may not even appear in the series, all for the sake of one-off promotions.

You'd be hard pressed to find any other series that goes THIS hard on promo material

I love the Rick and Morty promotional art and stills.

Every one of these is so hyperdense and full of detail and things to look at, they're basically like episodes in picture form

I guarantee you, if they announce a new game, they will dump the Ruby plotline, leave it unfinished and pretend it never happened due to the quality of Forces

We're never gonna get closure
