I was sorry to hear that Juan Gimenez, one of the great artists of the comics medium died today. Let's remember his high craftsmanship and his groundbreaking work that made The Metabarons, The Fourth Power, Leo Roa, such beautiful works of art.

Top 100 of the 2010s: #63. Eartha by Cathy Malkasian (2017) For years the unfinished dreams and fantasies from the City Across the Sea came to Echo Fjord for sanctuary, taking bodily form, wandering the land. Recently, they've stopped coming and Eartha wants to solve the mystery.

Comics Worldwide: Mauritius. Laval NG Man Kwong (or Keong) is a comic artist from Mauritius. He worked for the animation company Jadoma Films, contributed stories to Caliber Comics, and worked for publishing houses Adonis and Delcourt.

Just started reading Airboy by James Robinson and Greg Hinkle. Looks promising so far.

Top 100 of the 2010s: #78. Killing and Dying: Stories by Adrian Tomine (2015) is a collection of graphic short stories, five of which are from Tomine's magazine Optic Nerve (#12 to #14), and the sixth from Kramers Ergot anthology #7.

Top 100 of the 2010s: #82. Heads or Tails by Lilli Carré (2012) is, as promo press put it: "a stunningly designed and packaged collection of some of the most poetic and confident short fiction being produced in comics today."

Top 100 of the 2010s: #83. Is This How You See Me? by Jaime Hernández (2019) Maggie and Hopey take a road trip to a reunion in their old hood. Threaded throughout are flashbacks to formative stages in their relationship, as youth is juxtaposed against lives actually lived.
