Hi people of Twitter, I'm Osh! I'm a Filipino artist just having fun learning, experimenting and creating what I love, and I'm really proud of what I do!
This might be deja vu to some, but my anxiety™ told me to do this again with a clearer head hehe

And that's it! By no means am I a perfect artist. I'm constantly learning and making adjustments to my style, my thought process and interests!
But I hope I shared some stuff that goes through my head when rendering my art.
Cheers!

And ta-da, here are final outputs. Just layers with text bubbles and speech, moving around the bonus layers and I now have multiple versions of this artwork!
Here are some bonus layers: beard (I actually rendered Young Gus, but he's canonically much older now, with a beard).
Then there's smiling Gus, and blushing Gus!
This is the part I hide or show whenever I please...alongside the pants and shirt :)
The fun part is adjusting lights and light sources. Here, I went through the process of adding highlights/light from the left side, then just went to town with putting in some nice, subtle coloring.
His hair's gotten colorful more than just black and white!
Finally, he's not naked. Boo.
Pants and shirts, well...just went to town with the design and folds.
I put sort of like a whiter halftone on the left. It felt nice!
On the right, I start putting in Gus' signature bangs, using another layer. I just painted on his hair over and over until I was happy with the direction and lighting.
Focused on putting shades on the hair here. White hair's a bit tricky for me to shade because you're mostly working with just two colors (black and white). I'm still working on these kinds of obstacles!
