(4/4) Zack Stella @zack_stella has worked on many great pieces for #mtg including many planeswalkers. Check out more awesome work at his site! https://t.co/eHaoosAsry (Commencement of Ceremonies is so, so good.)
(3/4) Domri is of course looks great and his triumphant pose is perfect for the rebellious Gruul. I just love the energy of Domri and the boar's expressions backdropped by the expanse of civilization in the fog. This is definitely the most Rufio of the Domri takes, A+
(2/4) I love seeing how various artists have depicted fire in this set, and this piece doesn't disappoint. It helps add depth and menace to Domri's end raze boars and I love the distortion of the brush strokes on the fire and the fur in the lower third. Also excellent posing.
Serra the Benevolent by Magali Villeneuve @Cathaoir1
"Fear not. In my Sanctum there is always hope." #mtg #mtgart #MTGMH1 @wizards_magic
(3/4) Texture plays a part in drawing your focus in this piece and gives great contrasting elements. The brushstrokes of the fire and distant city contrast the detail of the goblins features. I love the story told between the token the card makes and this card. Party time's over.
(1/4) Thinking of doing a little #mtgrna showcase of the day as I continue going over cards. I'm not very scholarly about it, but maybe it will help others appreciate some incredible pieces! Today I got stuck on Quench by @rhineville Jason is just a master of facial expressions.
