Epic I — @emajarian
Down below and up above,
In harmony and rhythm,
The Gods sang a song of love
And the world sang it with them.
- Anaïs Mitchell
Harpy's Song — @aadorisart
A harpy passionately luring some unfortunate soul with her deadly song.
“Every heart sings a song, incomplete, until another heart whispers back. Those who wish to sing always find a song. At the touch of a lover, everyone becomes a poet.” —Plato
Harmonia & Kadmos — @KayshaSiemens
Goddess of harmony Harmonia married mortal Kadmos, but their lives were cut short when they were transformed into serpents. Kadmos embraced his weeping love first as man, then as snake; their coils twined together as she met her matching fate.
Embrace — @ajramseyart
Metamorphosis between life knowing and immortality.
Rift — @ClarElizabeth4
The last year has me thinking a bit differently about distance and human touch. And I will always hop on any possible excuse to paint the Great Rift, the dust clouds that block the Earth’s view of the centre sectors of the Milky Way.
Lost in a Rift — @aadorisart
A somewhat personal exploration of feelings I've experienced during these difficult times. The word 'Rift' made me imagine this isolated, underwater place where someone does what they can to stay connected and reach the things they love.
