The #SnyderCut made me do it! About to read my first Justice League book in a long time! I know a lot of people loved Rebirth, so I was kind of surprised I really didn't like the Batman and Catwoman story I tried to read but couldn't finish. Here's hoping this JL book is better.

King Kong (1976) - Slow, boring, and SLEAZY. Kong had a perpetual rapey face and he was so horny he undressed Jessica Lange with his finger. In fact, every scene with Jessica Lange was basically a Playboy photoshoot. The giant practical effects hands were the only things I liked.

I love how batshit crazy Doom Patrol is. Every episode fries your brain with over-the-top weirdness like the comics. I especially love it when Robotman reacts to it like what the fuck is happening now lmao

This book is also legit creepy. The art works so well to deliver mystery and scare. But that’s also thanks to the great writing. I don’t know how good this is going to get and for how long but so far, these are turning out to be some of the best comics I’ve read.
