So, I don't usually post WiP shots of my stuff, but for some reason I lost my motivation after doing the rough initial stuff. It needs something in the top left corner. I was thinking rams, since this is supposed to be the Hinterlands. Anyone have better ideas?

I used this as a chance to test out a technique Marco Bucci used in one of his videos on style, using only the polygonal lasso tool.

I made a process gif, which is more of a video file, but what the hey. You may notice heavy use of the Liquify tool. I kept forgetting to save versions to use for the steps... so there are only 6.

Decided to try the thing as well. We have here a ballpoint pen Varric, a faber-castell watercolour pencil and PITT pen painting, a digital lined illustration and a digital painterly portrait. So this is also all themed with my Lavellan, an OC and Varric.
