Reminds me of 'Toto! Wonderful Adventure', which was an unfortunately discontinued battle shounen retelling of Wizard of Oz.
If you like supernatural bloody gore horror series, Noah of The Blood Sea is a pretty fun read. Follows the passangers of a luxury cruise ship where mysterious killings seem to keep happening as they stray into the open sea.
