I drew for today a Polynesian god for my next project about Oceanic mythologies. It's gonna be a tarot cards project (just know that the Maya mythology project isn't over yet)
This Polynesian god, is Makemake. He was the chief god of Rapa Nui and the Tangata Manu (Birdman Sect)
My first digital drawing lmao
An Australian Aboriginal bark painting depicting a whale 🐋🌊
Could also be a deity or spirit
I tried tho
First time
(Picture 2 is the original bark found with the painted whale on it)
New chibi artwork, this time based on Mesopotamian mythology :3
Just me, relaxing and playing the royal game of Ur with the slayer of Tiamat and patron of Babylon, Marduk :)
Next scene I drew for my Maya mythology series: the Upperworld/Heavens ☁️☀️🌌🌠🌺
It was the realm of the Maya gods of sky and the creator god Itzamna. Only those who comitted suicide or were sacrificed could go there. It's the realm where the Sun god journeyed during the day
Three chibis I drew today based on three of my favorite characters from Fantastic Beasts:
Gellert Grindelwald, Vinda Rosier and Nagini!
Hope you like them! 😈🧙♂️
Mayan gods series: My tattoo design of Cizin, a Mayan death god. 💀🕺🚬
Cizin was considered the same, or according to others, an aspect of Ah Puch. Cizin was usually depicted as a dancing skeleton in the Underworld torturing the dead or uprooting trees the god Chaak has planted.
