@dreadfuldruid Here's an old but much loved OC from before my transition. Gimnar Quartzbraid lost his hand in a lava plumbing accident, but rather than make an articulated magical prosthetic, he insists on wearing the simple steel hook his mom made for him.

Because he loves his mom.
