WATTREL LINE
after that, the uncontested, the cleanest and nicest design of the new dex. an absolutely perfect bird with great colors and an awesome concept. easily one of the best pokémon of the entire new batch, both of them.

PAWMI LINE
GARBAGE. BORING. completely uncreative and soulless. i understand "if its not broken dont fix it" but maybe if its not broken it doesnt need a three stage evolution either. wouldnt mind as much if it was just pawmi to pawmot, but pawmo feels like it was added as filler

CYCLIZAR
this one's also nothing out of this world, but a bike lizard is not bad. more games in the future need a pokémon thats just a miserable little version of the legendaries, cosmog doesnt count

CETODDLE, FRIGIBAX LINES
both very interesting for ice types. cetitan is a sick idea and a cool nod to cryptids, and baxcalibur looks great too, but feels unneeded when there's already a godzilla mon since gen TWO that isnt literally just godzilla with ice

ORTHWORM, BOMBIRDIER, KLAWF
these are all titans so im putting them together. the only one i really like is bombirdier bc its a very nice design without weird gimmicks or weird moves. the other two are kinda boring to me but klawf does look silly

VAROOM LINE
sick combo typing and concept specially after the absolute GARBAGE that was coalossal. however found out while getting the sprites that they FLOAT??? WHY DO THEY FLOAT WHATS THE POINT OF THE ROCK WHEEL THINGS THEN????? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

TADBULB LINE
very odd designs, but cute and charming. bellibolt looks very squishy but i wish the fake eyes didnt look so weird

CAPSAKID LINE
one of the weirdest designs of the gen altho still a fairly cool one, specially for the long awaited fire/grass pokémon. wish it had no arms rather than those weird leaf flaps but a good, weird monster is always welcome

SMOLIV LINE
very good. it seems to be the usual, unavoidable feminine humanoid mon, but they also made it a tree which is cool and makes it very pretty. i like it a lot
