Odin Sphere would be considered as one of the precursors to the storytelling of 13 Sentinels (along a game such as Grim Grimoire) with its intricate way to intertwine stories together, even though it was lacking in what 13 Sentinels has managed to achieve now.
a friend of mine pointed out that makima & porygon-z have a similar eye pattern and although it's definitely a coincidence it's such a cool one that i can't unsee it
it's a very umino-esque story in essence and it's just as heartwarming and moving; I somehow wish it would drag on for longer than 6 volumes
