The blindfold represents the feeling of being lost. No one to wake up next to. To be the first thing you see in the morning. To see your first smile of the day.

Not being able to see where you're going & not having someone to share the process that you're going through

The broken jaw

What generally initiates my moments of loneliness is my struggle with conversations.

I never know what to talk about or what to respond with. And this silence generally makes me withdraw even more. Making it difficult to form relationships.

The King Protea, South African National flower. Both my brother & sister have protea tattoos & I’ve been considering getting one as well. I've included this because even tough I have siblings, some loneliness comes from an intimate starvation.
