Recently I’ve redownloaded neko atsume and now every time I open it I gasp and smile. Hits exactly as it did back in highschool 😭
@NoelClover me: can u help me figure out this panel idk how to do it
noel:
me: what kind of genre do you think this comic is !?!?!
i made setsuna's room in the sims 4 to help draw this panel bc my perspective skills do not exist
me:
the setsuna and ayumu that live in my brain: https://t.co/nb0L6HlyeW
@yujachachacha SO WHEN we do get to Setsuna's bedroom, it's again highlighting the contrast between the bright, outside world (where Ayumu finds support), with Setsuna feeling trapped by her own feelings! But!! The door is opened, with light gushing!! A straightforward metaphor!
@yujachachacha WELL you see - the lighting in the classroom scene is all dull and washed out to rep the suffocating tension between them, so when it transitions to the outdoor rainy scene that's a lot brighter it highlights the feeling of liberation that ayumu feels being removed from that -
