My bat is sad because she doesn't have unicorn magic or pegasus wing fingers so the obvious thing happened when @freezietype tried to give her an ice cream cone because she is a bat pony and in Batopia ice cream is served in bowls so there are no crimes against flavor.
My bat is sad because @purpleflix caught her being super proud that she has grown enough as a bat to not need to keep every hat and now everyone has seen her proud floof and that's a violation of a bat pone's sovereign floof privacy rights.
My bat is sad because I explained to her that mangos and eggs are not interchangeable so that means today is egg day and not mango day but she does not care for eggs because she is a bat pony.

My bat is sad because she found a mango while in isolation and the paparazzi ignored the shelter in place orders and captured her moment of joy turning it to a moment of sadness because she is a bat pony and this is a private moment not for the public.
