Each of the Dan members' types are based from Eeveelutions as symbol for their eye powers. That's why Shintaro only got Eevee (and maybe unable to evolve it?).

Every Mekakushi-dan members are Gym Leaders, except Shintaro and Ayano as player/rival. The trainer classes for each members are outside their Gym Leader work.
I know there are far more better Pokemons that would suit them but here's my take.

Kana Hanazawa's voice is used for Gloria. The used voices are Koharu from Pokemon (new series) episode 11 and Mary from Mekakucity Actors episode 3. While for Hop, I just use the one from Twilight Wings episode 3
