I call this print "The Holy Family".

Entropy happens.

Even, or especially, in religion.

The gravitational pull is towards institutionalization.

Which in turn becomes about power, money, and the dehumanization of its members.

People crying over others enjoying the same rights they do.

Equal Rights mean everyone gets treated equally.

Equal.

To withhold rights from someone means they are no longer rights but privileges.

That's not good. Right?

I still have the original of this cartoon.

A very high-stress situation. Can you relate? 🕹

Do you ever stop to see the forest for the trees?

When you're in overwhelming situations, do you stop to realize that it's a sum of manageable parts?

This is my watercolor print Am I Seen?

My watercolor We Will Not Go Back... some didn't notice until later that they've pushed the canoe away, like burning a bridge, making it so that they CANNOT go back. They have made a decision. Made up their mind. They're walking into their mutual future. Together. Free.

When I finished painting this one, it reminded me of Lisa and I when we've made a decision to leave and never go back.

Notice she is leading. I'm always amazed by Lisa's courage during these distressing but liberating times.
