I'll have to admit that this made me step back and examine my own work a little bit more today. I'm looking at ways that I can explore a little more variety in my current work.

At morning they arrive, riding the early winds to the island.

Yet another piece from the #NaiyaAndTheFoxdragon world, vessels that once sailed the skies.

From this smaller piece, I was actually inspired to create a much larger painting - more skyships in the near future!

I like to entertain my brain by combining the complex branch shapes of 2-3 trees into 1 epic tree. This was before I found our friend Karin's real tree with dozens of branches.

I'm honored to have this print now hanging in her treehouse.

The completed piece! I've been really enjoying creating these portals into other worlds in this "Girl & Stag" series. There is something mysterious and fascinating about such a magical location.
