One of the recent Moonsprout supporter portraits, which is my Dad! I'm trying to do more non-representational color schemes with these and I really like how this one turned out with the jacket and multi-colored lines. What color-scheme would your portrai… https://t.co/9NmvCnldac
This portrait of my friends Sarah and Charles was designed to go in a picture frame that they got as a wedding present, it had been holding a sketch that was mostly faded.
It made me feel closer to them to contribute to a meaningful spot in their home. #if
@CAKEchicago My third supporter portrait was for @7_leopold . I'm baffled by his creativity and steadfast support. John was actually my history (and art history) teacher, and one of the first people to show me how to analyze life (and the art of others) to draw.
The second portrait I did was of this heartwarming dog Riley, who not only supports my comic, but also put me up for a whole weekend when I went to @CAKEchicago last year. Oh and also their owner, Phil 💖
Every month I pick a Moonsprout supporter (at random) and offer to draw their portrait (or an OC). I'm starting a thread to share each of them as they're made!
The first to get picked was Clayton Hoover. Thanks Clayton and Katherine!
Every month, I pick someone who supports Moonsprout Station (at random) and draw their portrait. Sarah and Charles. They’ve been in my life almost as long as I’ve been in Portland, and it meant a lot to make them something special for their home.
Thanks to my supporters, there's a new, free post on the Moonsprout Patreon full of practice paintings, sketches, and oh! My latest commission painting of Fruma from @barrydeutsch 's comic "Hereville" https://t.co/LIQZF8cOrj
I felt a little self conscious about my look (until I got to the third one) https://t.co/uj0tNAM0qN
Rewatching Gem Glow while working on some character introduction stories and noticed this part where the front of the centibeetle's maw is masked out by an invisible unmoving circle for a few frames
This season, I spent a lot of time doing illustrations to promote @PuebloUnidoPDX
There are thousands of incarcerated immigrants (many children) who are not getting basic freedoms, and certainly no celebrations.
Please help now before the end of the year
