This scene was another one that was poorly adapted in the anime. In the VN you can feel how instable and nervous she is when facing Shirou, but in the anime it really does look like she straight up just wants to kill Shirou 😂

Also, I've seen many people talking about how Rin looks more mature in the Heaven's Feel trilogy but most of it comes because the character design illustrators are different

Sudou was charge of the HF movies (as well as the F/HA OPs) and Tabata was in charge of the UBW anime
