Many artists understand that social media is not our ally, but due to living in more rural areas, are reliant on a combo of social media, personal sites, and mailing lists to try and find new fans. Giving it up entirely sounds nice, but isn't a reality for many artists.

7" Kara is set at the house my grandfather built for his family, in semi-rural Hahnville, Louisiana. I spent a lot of time exploring those sheds and that backyard as a kid, and I can assure you, he had it filled to the brim with fruits and vegetables
