If you ignore the texturing, these maps are very qbert-esque, but it's hidden by local detail so it doesn't look forced!

I’m a big fan of fantasy clothing that feels wearable. It’s something that’s always drawn me in about Amano’s work.

The outfits are whimsical and extravagant but the weight, the draping, where they cinch and where they billow out always grounds his designs in plausibility.

I’ve had art-block for the entirety of 2022 so far so I’m forcing out some concept art.

Tsaidegars are young women tasked with maintaining shrines and votive markers scattered along the ancient highways. They are honored visitors, and their weapons are *mostly* ceremonial.

Yuli and Pili are the two most important femme characters in the prologue, so it adds up they both have 3 yin’s in their full names (YWLYYT and PYLYYM) and use more feminine orthography.

I’m a firm believer you should have much more unpublished lore than published 🤓
