There's a story about a countess and a princess dueling topless. Folks say the fight was to the blood, not death, and being topless it'd be easier to see. There's no evidence the duel took place but painters and filmmakers went wild with it. It's basically a really early fanfic!?

Just found out about Freedom, produced in 1988 by the first black woman game designer Muriel Tramis.

It's a stealth/point and click hybrid where you recruit fellow slaves and set fire to houses, and it's wildly ahead of its time.

Just found out that a young man named Yusuke Murata submitted fan concepts to Capcom for megaman 3, 4, and 5. Crystal Man (5) and Dust Man (4) were accepted, Double Man (3) was not. Murata later went on to create another "man" - one punch man.
