The action-animation industry was largely born because of DC Comics. Between the Fleischer Superman shorts, the Filmation shows, and DC artist Alex Toth's Hanna-Barbera work, its legacy and influence have been widespread, and SO much can be traced back to the publisher.
Putting aside MMPR, Batman, Spider-Man, X-Men, and, oh man, so many others (including a bunch of reruns of true bangers), I'd give a nod to some Fox Kids themes that rarely get on this list: https://t.co/ft84vflPOl
Superman with Captain America's shield and Thor's hammer. Very few could handle both.
Even fewer from other dimensions.
Thank you, George Perez.
If Sony's Spiderverse wanted some Latin representation, why not give us someone like Anya Corazon? At least she has a ton of titles under her name, including Araña and, most recently, Spider-Girl.
I want a Wonder Woman animated series yesterday.
Not teenage WW. Not WW as a side character. Wonder Woman as the star. The legacy of the Themyscirans, those still in the land and those outside of it.
We need one.
Vixen
Created by Gerry Conway and Bob Oksner.
Celebrated by Dwayne McDuffie, G. Willow Wilson, CAFU Geoffrey Thorne, and ChrisCross
Brought to life by Gina Torres, Cree Summer, Megalyn Echikunwoke, Kimberly Brooks, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, and Jasika Nicole.
I know everybody and their mother is saying Hong Kong Phooey and Secret Squirrel.
I'll go deep.
Give me Scare Bear, Quack-Up, Crazy Claws, and Dirty Dawg (seriously, I want him to be THE rival to Top Cat). https://t.co/0eUh8X4505
Dino is not a dog.
He acts like a dog, but he's not a dog.
There are dogs in Bedrock.
Really. https://t.co/2Bns3YWB9E
When I was a kid?
Ah, a first-generation Nick fan here. I was here for the toons. And Double Dare. https://t.co/3OwI1z9Dh7
Speaking of legendary Latin American luchadors in animation, are we going to see that Rey Mysterio cartoon on CN US or is that just going to be a Latin American exclusive?
