Briarstone's defeated the Sparrows, at great cost- and while the campaign's done, this one'll be felt for a while. What a great finale! I enjoyed working on these art assets. Including: a crater on a broken realm, the mastermind behind the cult, and a muse we saved!
So! The first roll20 map I made for Briarstone events- was done in a week and was a pain in the ass, the file's so big that the program froze every twenty seconds. But! It's paying off. It was made with Dynamic Lighting in mind! It went off SO well!
Briarstone d20 is a success!
Hello, I've made a beachy-keen Osruth reference! Here she is, everyone's favorite 100% huggable, bee-keeping, brawny, benevolent, botanical bard. #STVBB2021! Team Max! But not because she's competitive- she's just active and wants to make friends!
Lysabet's doctor recommended she get some sun and socialize. Good thing there's a certain Beach Bash comin' 'round. 👀
Team Relax? Usually, she'd be going to the Max, but she's been through a lot lately, and deserves some rest. Let's go.
(speedpaint; warm-up)
I illustrated (read: doodled and slapped some colors on) items for Briarstone's market menus lately, and surprisingly, they got a lot of love. Here's the ones that got mentioned the most.
Decided that I wanted all three of these in their own post. Some Maw-creatures I designed. Antilius (Mawsworn), Grimori (Mawhound), and Languis (Tormentor/Shade). Went for an "oil crayon" or "oil pastel" style; digital art.
#PortfolioDay - Hello! I'm a self-taught digital artist with a love of colors and lighting and emotional context with a focus on fantasy-horror or adjacent characters.
I have been doing art all my life, but I am always learning! 🧠
two mawsworn characters- antilius and languis. one is a very corrupted kyrian, the other a tormentor of the damned.
i tried to do these in a soft sort of oil-crayon paintings? not sure if i succeeded, was jus' tryin to do somethin new. both were 1-1.5 hours- speedpaints.
I offer unto you some horror illustrations: a preview of some of the fleshcrafted terrors coming in Briarstone's next campaign! Enjoy some of the many monsters from our GM's lovely mind-- these are not my creations, I merely brought them to life. 😉
