Bad News Mullen might not be the rarest @BoredApeYC out there but I have never seen a cooler one tbh.

And yes I bought a few apes from the gang but I am not affiliated with the project.

Nevertheless, I would love to see them getting more visibility bc I think they really deserve.

Another detail? They do have a drooling mouth but in contrast to the bulls, it's fun to look at.

When we look at the rarity vs. rare looking traits, I think it's @WickedCraniums that do a pretty good job.

Okay, we could argue about the noodle mouth on this OG #1 cranium but hey ...

My problem with the Bulls is however, that this sums up.

I have no way of telling that the lava bull is by far rarer than the rainbow one swimming in gold. And the one with the golden crown looking like a super-rich roman emperor is by far more common (!) than the red dude.

Every project has traits with this issue. It's hard to avoid with that amount of combinations and unsupervised mixing.

Even the Bored Apes have the rarest mouth holding a pizza (0.26%) whereas "Grin Diamond Grill" (0.78%) & "Grin Gold Grill" (0.91%) look far more prestige to me.

The most rare and worthy mouth trait is "Lava Slime" (0.13%) followed by "Lava Drooling" (0.19%).

The pretty awesome looking "Golden Teeth" (0.55%) are by far more common.

Personally, I even prefer one of the most common "Awkward smile" (7%) over drooling ones as profile pic.

And this is where I want to name Bulls on the Block.

I do own a bull btw (pic), I like the project and I DMd with the main artist Rui in the past.
However there are things I (!) would have loved to see differently with the rarity match-up.

I DO NOT SAY I COULD DO IT BETTER!

Looking at @kevwuzy's ape #4614, we see a "Fur" trait of "Solid Gold".

Gold is rare and obviously pretty worthy in our real world. So we associate a good rarity with this trait.

And indeed, only 0.46% of the bored apes have this golden fur.
