That's one of the reasons why i chose Vancouver as her hometown, too!~ A fanfic writer wanted to write Koi as a Vancouver Canucks, and Vancouver also happened to be the city that hosts the majority of Japanese community within Canada.

About her background: My sister lives in Toronto, Canada; it's been 3 years since she moved from Brazil. She always talks about how big the immigrant population in Canada is, so i thought, what if VALORANT's representation of Canada was a Canadian Nisei girl?

After Neon's release, Koi's design and abilities had some bends and turns: i thought i had to do something simple, but when Neon came out with all the little details she had, so i felt free to do as i intended with Koi's design.

Im so glad to introduce Koi! her development dates from the beggining of October 2021; at that time, i was experimenting with lots of designs and colors purely for fun, this little experiment was able to make me upgrade my art skills a lot !
