i noticed smth abt art without lineart
basically, contrast and shadows are important
(i removed the lineart layer of one of my drawings as an example)
saw someone say somewhere that sketching curtains/towels are a good way to learn how to draw wrinkles on clothes
maid outfits have a lot of wrinkles, dont they? i dont remember the last time i properly drew a maid outfit, i wanna draw one soon... one thats serving coffee or smth
only one layer, only one brush
no erasures, no worrying whether it looks good or not
just playing around
i'm having trouble using this kind of style. i cant add fine details, but maybe it would be good for backgrounds
nevermind, my confidence is restored
all it needed was one layer of solid shadows
having a bit of trouble with deciding what colors to use
her left shoulder looks a bit weird now that im taking a good look at it
