Noses. As I found noses of the most difficult parts of drawing portraits last week I did some exercises just drawing them - getting quite happy with these now (sanguine and charcoal on paper)

Woman with headdress. Just finished the drawing I starete at the Academy in Florence. Very happy with this as all from my own hand. Thanks to a great teacher I feel I can finally draw.

Last class at Academia del Giglio in Florence today. Learnt more this week than on any other course, & Apollon is a fantastic teacher. Highly recommend the course. Here 2 unfinished paintings I made. Main thing I learned is to take much more time & care -and going back to drawing
