Zuniceratops was a small plant-eating #dinosaur that lived in North America during the late Cretaceous. It is the earliest known #ceratopsian with eyebrow horns. It was first discovered in New Mexico in 1996 by 8 year old Christopher Wolfe. #JurassicJune #JurassicPark #dinosaurs
Meet a rather grumpy Styracosaurus, a medium-sized #dinosaur from the Cretaceous. He had an array of spikes around a neck frill and a single giant horn on his nose, which may have been up to 60cm in length! #dinosaurs #JurassicPark #JurassicJune #JurassicWorld #kidlitart
My next #JurassicJune entry is Lambeosaurus, a #hadrosaur from the late Cretaceous period - best known for the very distinctive hatchet-shaped crest on its head. This #dinosaur travelled in herds across #prehistoric North America around 75 million years ago. #JurassicPark
Spinosaurus lived in Africa during the late Cretaceous and was among the largest of all the carnivorous #dinosaurs. Evidence suggests that it lived both on land and in water as a modern crocodilian does. It also had a giant sail running the length of its back. #JurassicPark
Meet Iguanodon, a giant herbivore first named in 1825 by Dr Gideon Mantell. It walked upright as well as on all fours and had a distinctive thumb spike, which was originally thought to have been on the end of its snout #JurassicJune #dinosaur #JurassicPark #JurassicWorld #cartoon
Here is another of my early #cartoon #dinosaurs and one that I enjoyed drawing for #JurassicJune last year. A gentle giant, this #dinosaur could have weighed more than 50 tons and been up to 21 metres in length! One giant reptilian giraffe right here: https://t.co/qlhODMFhmc
Similar to Stegosaurus is his smaller European cousin, the spiked Kentrosaurus! This #jurassic #dinosaur had two sets of back adornment; his front was covered in small armour plates and his rear and tail were protected by sharp spikes. #JurassicJune #dinosaurs #JurassicPark
Probably one of the best known of all the #dinosaurs, this is my #cartoon Triceratops! This is another of my older #dinosaur #cartoons and was created for last year’s #JurassicJune. Take a closer look at this armoured forklift here: https://t.co/RgGPhVU0hY #JurassicPark
“They’re, uh, they’re flocking this way…”
Anyone that’s watched the awesome #JurassicPark will be familiar with Gallimimus, as some of the key characters are caught in a stampede of these speedy #dinosaurs whilst evading a Tyrannosaur. #JurassicJune #JurassicWorld
Say hello to the ‘meat-eating bull’ or Carnotaurus, aptly named for the two small horns located above its eyes. This is a brand new #dinosaur #cartoon I’ve created for #JurassicJune. Carnotaurus was a medium-sized carnivore that lived in South America during the Cretaceous.
